Extremity

[1Co 12:12-14 ESV] 12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body–Jews or Greeks, slaves or free–and all were made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many.

We are an Extremity of Christ’s Body, and here’s what Jesus would have us to do. Jesus said:

[Mat 25:37-40 ESV] 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Charities is a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation with a network of screened, facility-approved volunteers who offer free social and emotional support visits: conversation, playing cards, prayer if requested, sharing a snack, with people in hospitals and jails.

We make it easy:

  1. Complete a 10-second online referral
  2. We confirm the visit
  3. Family receives status updates; you get a brief confirmation note

There is no cost and no proselytizing. We will share our personal Christian experiences, understanding, prayers, and literature only if our invitation is accepted to read or hear something that Jesus actually said.

Thank you for everything you already do.
